School Horses...
Sage Meadows currently has 6 school horses in our lesson program. They each excel in various disciplines and are wonderful teachers at the art of horseback riding.

SYNDICATE
"Syd" is a 13 yr. old Holsteiner Warmblood cross gelding. He is a gentle giant at 17.2 hands but with a heart of gold. He is flashy and talented in the dressage, jumper and hunter ring. Syd first excelled at eventing as a youngster, but seems to get blue ribbons wherever he goes. He is suitable for intermediate to advanced students and we are so happy to have him!
FIRED BY FAITH
"Faith" is a 15.1h Paint mare who has been a show horse for many years before coming to Sage Meadows. She knows her job well and has an extensive show career in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Huntseat and Dressage. Faith is gentle, confident and a great teacher for any level rider.
KATALINA
"Kat" is a big 17h of pure sweetness and a joy to work with. She is a Hanoverian cross mare who excelled as an eventing horse in her younger years. She is patient and gentle with a big work ethic. Kat is a great lower level dressage horse and Hunter Under Saddle horse that is suitable for confident beginners and advanced riders.
She is a joy to work with and we are lucky to have her.

ABRACADABRA
"Trix" is a grey, 14.1h Welsh/ Connemara cross mare who has competed for decades in the A circuit hunter/jumper shows across the Northwest. She's a little powerhouse who is talented and fun to ride. Her bold approach to the jumps and flawless auto changes make her a winning mount for those learning the basics or for those with more experience.
WILLOW
"Willow" is a 16 yr, 11.2h Welsh Mountain Pony that is as cute as a pony can be. She adores children and is an excellent teacher. She is a bombproof confidence builder that is an easy mount for even the littlest riders. She has 3 smooth, steady gaits and a horse-sized amount of personality. Probably the best jumper in the barn too!
HICKORY
"Hickory" is a 7 year old, 11.1h Welsh pony who has a personality twice her size. Truly a 'in your pocket' pony who is curious about everything. She loves kids and loves carrots even more. Hickory is relatively new to our program but she is learning the ropes quickly with her 'can do' attitude. She has certainly been a fun addition to the Sage Meadows family!
